About the Filmmakers

Surry Roberts, Executive Producer
Surry Roberts is a native North Carolinian who served in the Vietnam War as a medic for the 5th Special Forces (Green Beret).  During his time in country, he worked closely with the Montagnard people.  Roberts continues to work closely with Montagnards living in North Carolina today.  He graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, served as a medical doctor with his own practice, and has been an entrepreneur involved in starting various companies including a mountain retreat in northeastern Tennesse, a Raleigh-based restaurant and web design services company.

Camden Watts, Producer-Director
This is the first film by Camden Watts, also a North Carolina native.  Watts studied writing, design and photography at Meredith College, earning a B.A. in 2003.  It was during her time at Meredith College that Watts began studying improvisational comedy at ComedyWorx.  She has written, directed and acted in a variety of performances.  Also an entrepreneur, Watts started a consulting company in 2009 called Honey Scroll to help clients and marketing, communications and creative companies work better together.  Follow Watts on Twitter: @cammicam.
